Our P6 class have enjoyed learning about schools in the past through this project which involves grandparents. Our grandparents came to school to participate in workshops organised by Ruth Osborne. We looked at artefacts from schools in the past & our grandparents told us plenty of stories about their schooldays. We all had a day out to Ulster Folk & Transport Museum, Cultra where Conor McGrath was the very cross school master with the dreaded cane! We are going to put our grandparents stories to good use by dramatising them with Conor's help and will perform them to our grandparents soon.
