Personal, Social and Health Education is delivered to all classes through curricular subject, e.g. PDMU, Religion, ICT, PE, RSE, WAU and through educational themes.
All classes teach Barnardo’s PATHS. Programme (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies) as well as NSPCC Keeping Safe.
E Safety and use of electronic equipment is taught regularly.
These programmes aim to empower young people with knowledge, values/attitudes and skills required to make good choices in their lives.
Active learning strategies are employed to embed learning.
